Criteria for full membership
Engage in international cooperation, including addressing global challenges, policy recommendations, and education initiatives, or function as a network promoting collaboration among such organizations.
Be a citizen-established organization with activities serving the public interest, headquartered or operationally based in Japan.
Have a democratic decision-making body and operate under bylaws or equivalent documents.
Publicly disclose officers, activity reports, and financial statements.
Demonstrate at least two years of operational experience, covering two fiscal periods.
Maintain a functional administrative office for communication.
Respect and practice the spirit of JANIC’s Charter.
