10th East and North-East Asia Multi-Stakeholder Forum on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Civil Society Forum (21 to 23 Oct 2026)

Civil Society Forum on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals will be held on 21 October 2026, at Incheon National University, Republic of Korea, on the occasion of the 10th East and North-East Asia Multi-Stakeholder Forum on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The East and North-East Asia Multi-Stakeholder Forum on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (hereafter referred to as the Forum) serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among government, the private sector, civil society organizations, experts, and other stakeholders. It provides a unique opportunity to exchange information on subregional implementation efforts, highlight subregional priorities, and showcase best practices.

The Forum is an important consultation ensuring that voices from East and North-East Asia are conveyed to the 14th Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD), which will be organized from 23-26 February 2027 under the theme: “Scaling up just transitions to achieving sustainable development, poverty eradication and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs”. The APFSD convenes member States, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders whose reflections feed into and inform the 2027 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in New York, which reviews sustainable development progress at the global level under the same theme.

This year’s Forum will assess progress and provide recommendations on the following SDGs under review at the 14th APFSD and 2027 HLPF:

Goal 4: Quality Education

Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities

Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Goal 15: Life on Land

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
